My name is Danny Katz and I am a rising senior at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I am double majoring in chemical engineering and economics and minoring in management and chemistry. I grew up in the bay area in Cupertino, CA. This summer, I am working as the Market Intelligence Intern for the Innovation and Partnerships Office at the lab. Some of my hobbies include: health and fitness, sports, astronomy, and watching professional sports. My favorite teams are the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and New England Patriots. When I get out of college, I want to go into management consulting in the short term and then go to business school. In the long term, I plan on starting my own business in the health and nutrition industry. Ultimately, I would like to start a business that helps in the global fight against childhood obesity.
