MATT GARRETT is the Director of the Innovation and Partnerships Office at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). The Innovation and Partnerships Office (IPO) serves as the focal point for LLNL engagement with the private sector.

ELSIE QUAITE-RANDALL is the Deputy Director of the Innovation and Partnerships Office (IPO).

NINA POTTER is the Intellectual Property and Compliance Manager who leads the IPO’s tight-knit group of highly skilled Intellectual Property (IP) Specialists who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining LLNL’s extensive patent portfolio and post-execution licensee compliance performance.

MELISSA LEWELLING is the Communications Manager responsible for developing integrated communications strategy, cross-platform content, messaging and program development to help the IPO Team multiply the impact of its tech transfer communications internally and externally.

HANNAH FARQUAR leads the Business Intelligence and Market Analysis group within the IPO that is responsible for evaluating Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory intellectual assets and developing commercialization pathways with private sector collaboration..

CHARITY FOLLETT manages IPO’s CRADA and Licensing Agreements group responsible for reviewing and executing the numerous CRADA and licensing agreements between LLNL and its external partners.

YASH VAISHNAV is a Business Development Executive managing intellectual property development, industry collaborations and commercialization of life science technologies.

JARED LYNCH is the Business Development Executive responsible for the commercialization of technologies and management of intellectual property portfolios in the areas of chemistry and materials as well as energy & environment. He joined LLNL and the IPO in May 2023.

ALEX HESS is the Business Development Executive responsible for handling the commercialization efforts, management of IP and partnership creation centered around the National Ignition Facility (NIF) technologies including Inertial Fusion Energy (IFE), Advanced Photon Sciences (APS) and more.

MARY HOLDEN-SANCHEZ is the Business Development Executive who manages LLNL's digital assets portfolio - moving digital technologies developed at the Lab towards commercialization and partnerships.

CHARLOTTE ENG is a Business Development Executive within IPO's Business Intelligence and Market Analysis group who is responsible for designing informational materials and researching industry partners aligned with a number of LLNL technology portfolios. 

JULIA KERR is a business development executive responsible for market analysis and evaluation of the market fit for technologies within LLNL’s intellectual property portfolio.

ALICERA AUBEL is a Business Development Associate who manages the complex processing of the numerous technology transfer agreements between LLNL and external partners, from their inception through post execution.

YVONNE KING is one of the Intellectual Property Specialists who processes new ROIs (Records of Invention) that are reported through LLNL's electronic ROI submission system. 

Sonal is IPO’s Intellectual Property Specialist responsible for processing nondisclosure agreements (NDAs). Prior to joining the IPO Team in 2023, Sonal worked at UC Merced’s Office of Technology Transfer as an Administrative Officer.

SAMANTHA MADRU is an Agreements Specialist responsible for managing complex agreements between LLNL and outside partners, from initiation to execution and beyond.  Samantha joined the Innovation and Partnerships Office team in Spring 2023. 

MICHAELA HERMAN is the web developer for Deputy Director Science and Technology (DDST). She has been working at LLNL since 2018 providing technical web expertise and supporting several websites on a range of platforms.
