JULIA KERR is a business development executive responsible for market analysis and evaluation of the market fit for technologies within LLNL’s intellectual property portfolio.

Julia joined the IPO in 2024 to have the opportunity to support LLNL researchers and their innovations from a business perspective. She was drawn to technology transfer because it sits at the crossroads of business and science. Julia came to LLNL in 2022 after completing her PhD in Analytical Chemistry and MBA in Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship at UC Davis.

When she is not at work, Julia enjoys traveling to see friends & family, trying new coffee shops, and generally being outside.
